Warehouse, 100 block of West Roosevelt Blvd. Olney, North Philly.
The front of this building, facing The Boulevard, looks like a closed up generic “Discount! Bargain Basement Furniture!” place, but the back looks abandoned. I can’t find evidence of a business operating there since April 2011.
Prior to getting cellphone transmitters installed to the water tower, it was a shipping warehouse for car parts. Now it’s for sale for only $262,400.
It was built in 1913 — the building will have it’s 100th birthday next year.
Not very far from my home. The water tower has always intrigued me.
